Call for workshops
The SAGEO conference, major annual event in the field of spatial data science is scheduled to take place over four days and will feature:
- november 17th, 2026: workshops of the MAGIS CNRS group (https://gdr-magis.cnrs.fr/)
- novmber 18-20th, 2026: SAGEO conference
This call for proposals therefore pertains to November 17. The “workshop” format refers to in-person events lasting no more than half a day. These events are dedicated to discussions on topics currently being developed within Research Initiatives (AR) or emerging issues, as well as demonstrations or hands-on workshops.
The proposals are to be sent to sageo2026@sciencesconf.org by june 5th, 2026.
The required format for a workshop proposal (maximum 1 page; .pdf file) must include:
- the title of the workshop and the names of the people in charge,
- the objective and the procedure,
- the MAGIS Research Action(s) to which the workshop relates (optional) and the target audience,
- any requirements for organizing the workshop (logistics, venue, etc.).
The workshop organizers will be responsible for all organizational aspects (except the provision of a room).
The selected workshops (based on the submitted proposals and available space) will be announced by the scientific committee during the week of June 15–19.
